We all know that a Fur-baby can be just like a child at times. For those that do not have children sometimes those little bundles of furry joy are their children. Well, today is my "Childs" birthday. My sweet, hairy and loveable pup has turned 5! I think of when we brought him home, he barely knew how to function. He could not walk up stairs or jump in the car because he simply did not know-how. When we saved him from the shelter, he broke out of his crate and ate a whole family pack of chicken off the counter. That was that stray, trash dog in him. Well not anymore! now he is polite and just is the sweetest soul ever...
ok ok...back to the point of this blog. With it being his big 05! I am baking him a cake as I type this to you. I thought you know what? others may want to bake an all-natural cake for their fur babies as well.

This is a great way for your Human Kids to get involved with helping make something for their best friend!
PUP CAKE RECIPE

Things you will need

2. Large and Medium-sized mixing bowl
Set your oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients
Cake Mix
1 large egg
1/4 cup
1/4 cup Avacado oil
1/3 cup honey
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats

Frosting
1 cup peanut butter
1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1 TBS honey
It's so good we all want to try it !
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake tin or Cake pan with 6-8 cupcake liners or spray with nonstick spray. Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, honey, and shredded carrots in a large bowl. Feel free to omit the honey if you’d like. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and oats. Add this to the carrot mixture, and stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Bake for 150 35minutes depending on the pan you use, until a toothpick inserted in the center, comes out with a few crumbs on it and the tops are slightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on wire rack.
Mix together your frosting ingredients and add more Peanut butter as you mix to get the right consistency
Frost and serve and if your other little ones want to give a taste, well why not!
