Months and days and years can feel like they just sweep out from under us sometimes and can seem so fleeting. This how time flows within my life, I blink and a day has shot by. Do you ever feel like this? Where did the time go? is such a common phrase that I hear all the time. You feel like you blink and the clock says ok you, well, I know you just got home, however, its time for bed. Ugh, Sometimes I want to throw that single finger in the air and point it right in the face of that clock!
Im going down a rabbit hole!
Not really, however, sometimes it does seem things warp together in a strange way and then before I know it the week is over and it is now the weekend.
So where is my time going and how do I do it?
I currently and proudly work as a Project administrator full time during the day and I run my business Full time on the side. This can be a crazy dance of time management and scheduling. Did I Mention we are redoing our basement! Oh and we can not forget about the charity bike ride for my company to help raise money for Children's cancer. ( An amazing cause I must say ). I hold all of these things up like I am balancing delicate plates on sticks in the circus. Round and Round they go, As I am waiting for one to fall off. Until they do, I wanted to show you some tips and tricks that I have come across to manage time on a busy schedule!

Now some of mine...
A. Appreciate yourself for all that you do
Give yourself Pat on the back!
B. Take some time, If even 5 minutes to breathe.
C. Sit down and plan your schedule out for the week by utilizing a planner or calendar.
D. Try and wake up ten minutes earlier than normal and taking a stretch to allow your body to wake and be refreshed.
E. Don't over caffeinate. This only can cause a crash - try to stick to 1-2 cups a day.
F. what's the priority? Sit down and make a to-do list for each day, what on that list must come first and is the priority. This will help organize your thoughts and maybe give you some time back by canceling out larger projects or work items right away.
HOLD UP!
You have your calendar made for your work, to-do list done, you set your alarm earlier, planned out your morning stretches ... However, did you schedule in time in your calendar for fun things! The gym? Game night with the family? Anything that you want to be doing but never have time for? WELL! Do this, right now! This is a great way to make sure those little things in life get scheduled in.
Hopefully, this helps you get back some time in your day and make you feel less like your falling down that hole of time we can call life sometimes. This is how I manage my busy weeks and schedule. I plan my calendars out, Plan in time for myself and make sure I Breathe.
